Description : Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of post-licensure experience and a strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health services. This role involves working with individuals, families, and groups to promote optimal mental health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities :
- Client Assessment and Diagnosis : Conduct thorough assessments and diagnose mental health conditions using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Individual and Group Therapy : Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients.
- Treatment Planning : Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Crisis Intervention : Offer crisis intervention services as needed, including risk assessment and management.
- Case Management : Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
- Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Education and Advocacy : Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources. Advocate for clients’ needs within the healthcare system and the community.
- Professional Development : Stay current with best practices in the field through ongoing professional development and continuing education.
