What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales/Customer Service position at ACT PIPE & SUPPLY?
The ideal candidate is a goal oriented, self-motivated, team player capable of multi-tasking, meeting deadlines and supporting face to face customers and outside sales team members.
Tasks & Responsibilities: Facilitate sales process through project management, product procurement, and delivery coordination. Enter walk in, phone & email sales orders. Procure & maintain inventory levels. Ensure timely shipment of materials to meet project & customer requirements. Handle customer inquiries and problem resolution.
Required Skills:
- Must have a background history of waterworks industry.
- Efficient use of Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office.
- Friendly personality and customer service mentality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability multi-task with good attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Eclipse or Epicor software.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish).
General hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
