Responsibilities
- Conduct field-based audits/assessments focused on HSSE elements
- Work with operations team to identify concerns and provide solutions
- Develop and maintain asset-level risk register
- Assist in (and in some cases lead) incident investigations and oversee the implementation of corrective measures
- Assist with training
- Provide guidance in terms of PPE selection and deployment
- Ensure overall compliance with PGR HSSE Managed System is being achieved at the asset level
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a safety capacity including but not limited to; behavior based safety, safety systems, risk assessments, audits, basic safety training
- Prior working experience with solar and BESS installations, ideally at utility scale
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal oversight
- Valid Driver's License
- Familiar with OSHA 29CFR1910, 29CFR1926, NFPA 70E, IEEE1984 and other regulatory standards
- Must have the ability to travel, work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends
- Work is to be performed outdoors at various job sites.
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures. PPE personal protective equipment is required.
- Must have the ability to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, stand, or walk for 8-10 hours a day.
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
