Job Title: 2nd Shift Controls Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Controls Technician for a tier 1 manufacturer in Holland. This role is initially expected to last 6 months with the potential for hire, depending on workload and performance assessment.

Hours

• 3 PM to 11 PM
• 15 hours of overtime/week
• occasional weekend work may be required
• .75 cent off-shift premium

No Travel

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and edit PLC equipment, specifically Allen Bradley.
• Troubleshoot and edit ABB robots.
• Ensure excellent communication and documentation.
• Adhere to safety standards.
• Understand and work with hydraulics and pneumatics.

Must Have Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in PLC troubleshooting/editing with Allen Bradley.
• Ability to read in AutoCAD electrical.
• Experience in troubleshooting ABB robots.

"Nice to have" Qualifications

• Associate's degree.
• Highly preferred: Automotive experience.

Work Environment

-Fast paced environment that is pretty clean but can be noisy

-Prolonged standing at least 8 hours, but up to 12 hours per day

-Lift objects weighing up to 35 pounds multiple times per hour.

-Repetitive bending, twisting, turning, lifting.

-Repetitive use of hands, including gripping, grasping, pinching, squeezing

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
