2ND SHIFT Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Description:

• Reporting to the COO: Ensure manufacturing operations provide quality products on-time to customers.
• Support High-Volume Manufacturing: Execute the weekly production plan flawlessly.
• Ensure Safety and Well-being: Drive efficiency across the supply chain.
• Manage People Using KPIs: Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support overall strategy.

Top 3 Must Haves:

1. Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing setting.
2. Process Improvement Expertise: Strong experience in process improvement, continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency and quality.
3. Educational: AS or BS Degree in Engineering, Science, or Operations Management, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities:

• Oversee production processes to maximize equipment uptime
• Ensure the manufacturing environment is safe and compliant with all safety regulations
• Maintain product quality and ensure quality control processes are followed

Qualifications:

• AS or BS Degree in Engineering, Science, or Operations Management
• At least 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing setting
• Analytical skills and practical application of continuous improvement tools
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Work Environment:

• Located in Rensselaer, NY and fully onsite
• 2nd shift: 2pm to 10pm or 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday
• Business casual dress code
• Facility has a team of 100 employees, with 25 employees on the 2nd shift, and features 42 automated machines
• Company expanding with an additional 100,000 sq ft facility in 2025 to support medical device and pharmaceutical industries

Pay range: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00
