Job Title: Accessioner

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accessioner to join our team. The successful candidate will follow all laboratory procedures and policies while assisting with various administrative functions. This role requires working in the lab 60% of the time, handling documentation related to samples, and being comfortable working around bodily fluids.

Responsibilities

• Follow all laboratory procedures and policies.
• Assist with administrative functions, including maintaining clinical records and logs.
• Maintain an organized document management system for easy access and retrieval of current and archived records and forms.
• Maintain clinical laboratory supplies.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
• Identify administrative problems that may affect test reports and consult with a Supervisor for corrective actions.
• Perform and document all corrective actions as assigned.
• Assist in quality control and improvement activities.
• Complete and document all mandatory trainings, including annual safety training.

Essential Skills

• Experience in data entry, accessioning, and sample processing.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Attention to detail to handle high volume data accurately.
• Ability to keep up with a fast-paced workload.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to work Tuesday-Saturday with a 20% differential pay for weekend work.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a lab environment 60% of the time, with the remaining 40% spent at a desk. The office environment is very relaxed, with a business casual dress code that includes jeans. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
