- Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action (CAPA):Â Proficient in identifying root causes of quality issues and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Aerospace Quality Standards:Â Experience with AS9100 and AS9102 standards.
- Engineering Degree:Â Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSME/BSEE).
🚀 Responsibilities:
- Collaboration:Â Work with cross-functional teams to meet customer and regulatory specifications.
- Quality Control:Â Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
- Audits and Inspections:Â Conduct quality audits and inspections.
- Issue Resolution:Â Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Performance Monitoring:Â Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics.
- Reviews:Â Participate in design and process reviews.
- Training:Â Provide training and support on quality standards and procedures.
- Standards Compliance:Â Ensure products meet quality standards, including AS9100 and AS9102.
- Data Analysis:Â Generate and analyze quality data.
- FAI Coordination:Â Coordinate and support First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102.
- MRB Assistance:Â Assist in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings.
- New Product Development:Â Lead quality planning efforts for new product development.
- Inspection Plans:Â Develop inspection plans for purchased products and parts.
- Continuous Improvement:Â Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support Duties:Â Perform other quality engineering and manufacturing support duties.
🎓 Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years in Quality Engineering, aerospace, or other regulated industry.
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Knowledge of production processes and quality management systems (QMS).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102.
- Familiarity with Material Review Board (MRB) processes.
- Quality certifications (CQE, CQA, etc.).
- Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA or NADCAP regulations.
- Experience with quality inspection tools (Net-Inspect, InspectionXpert, etc.).
💼 Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 Annually
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $46.00/hr.
