  1. Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action (CAPA): Proficient in identifying root causes of quality issues and implementing effective corrective actions.
  2. Aerospace Quality Standards: Experience with AS9100 and AS9102 standards.
  3. Engineering Degree: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSME/BSEE).

🚀 Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to meet customer and regulatory specifications.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
  • Audits and Inspections: Conduct quality audits and inspections.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics.
  • Reviews: Participate in design and process reviews.
  • Training: Provide training and support on quality standards and procedures.
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure products meet quality standards, including AS9100 and AS9102.
  • Data Analysis: Generate and analyze quality data.
  • FAI Coordination: Coordinate and support First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102.
  • MRB Assistance: Assist in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings.
  • New Product Development: Lead quality planning efforts for new product development.
  • Inspection Plans: Develop inspection plans for purchased products and parts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support Duties: Perform other quality engineering and manufacturing support duties.

🎓 Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2 years in Quality Engineering, aerospace, or other regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality management systems (QMS).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102.
  • Familiarity with Material Review Board (MRB) processes.
  • Quality certifications (CQE, CQA, etc.).
  • Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA or NADCAP regulations.
  • Experience with quality inspection tools (Net-Inspect, InspectionXpert, etc.).

💼 Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 Annually

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $46.00/hr.
