Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Analytical Chemist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and laboratory practices, with hands-on experience in various analytical techniques. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through rigorous testing and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses using techniques such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), spectroscopy, and chromatography.
- Perform wet chemistry techniques to prepare samples and conduct experiments.
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) during all laboratory operations.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and methodologies in accordance with laboratory standards.
- Collaborate with microbiology teams to analyze microbial samples and ensure product safety.
- Utilize microscopy for detailed examination of samples as needed.
- Troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the development of new analytical methods and protocols to enhance laboratory efficiency.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory setting, with familiarity in GLP and CGMP environments.
- Proficiency in using analytical instruments such as spectrophotometers, HPLC systems, and microscopy equipment.
- Strong understanding of chromatography techniques and their applications in chemical analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
