Job Title: Application Engineer
Job Description
Collaborate with the Business Unit Manager and Business Development Manager to develop and execute plans to win new business. Track new business opportunities and serve as the primary customer interface throughout the new business cycle. Build and foster strong customer relationships and influence purchase decisions. Manage the new business pipeline and drive opportunities through the funnel with the Business Unit Manager and sales team. Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, conventions, conferences, and seminars to maintain customer contact, increase brand exposure, and publicize new products and services. Meet with customers to understand their requirements, assist in specification development, share technical information, and promote the value of the company and its products. Develop an understanding of each account, including contacts, current product needs, future requirements, procurement, and selection process. Provide written trip reports and meeting minutes as necessary. Plan and organize travel schedule using a Time and Territory Management tool. Contribute to sales forecasting, annual and long-term business planning, and product line strategy development. Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting as requested by the Business Unit Manager and Vice President of Sales. Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
Onsite environment with 35% travel, both internationally and domestically. Travel includes attending trade shows and visiting client facilities. Flexibility to not be in the office if travel plans are in place.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $55.29/hr.
