Job Description: Application Sales Engineer

We are seeking an Application Sales Engineer to serve as a liaison between Product Managers, Sales, and Manufacturing on engineered-to-order (ETO) products. This role involves providing cost estimations and designing for manufacturability, ensuring seamless integration between various departments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with sales and manufacturing teams.
• Evaluate complex products and determine manufacturing options.
• Provide cost estimations and design for manufacturability.
• Utilize ERP systems to look up product information and determine product structures (bill of materials) and manufacturing routes.
• Engage in project management within a manufacturing environment.
• Create and manage 2D and 3D models using Creo, Solidworks, or AutoCAD.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling (experience in Creo, Solidworks, or AutoCAD is required).
• Experience with cost estimation and calculations using cost estimation tools.
• Ability to navigate ERP systems to look up product information and determine product structures.
• Experience in working within a manufacturing environment, specifically with sales teams and project management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
