Job Description

Tasks for this position could include work throughout all project phases from design through construction administration, team coordination, and active participation with clients, depending on your prior experience and years working in the industry. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, self-manage project deadlines, work well in team settings and possess strong communication skills. The ideal applicant should be licensed, or working on licensure, in the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Work on all project phases from design through construction administration.
• Coordinate with team members and actively participate with clients.
• Produce construction documents using Revit.
• Manage project deadlines independently.
• Work effectively in team settings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Accredited degree in Architecture.
• 3-10 years of experience.
• Experience in construction administration.
• Exposure to public projects, with more exposure required for more experienced candidates.
• Proficiency in Revit for producing construction documents.
• Pursuing licensure in the state of Illinois.
• Interest and ability to work in a small team environment.

Work Environment

Our client is an integrated design firm offering in-house architecture and engineering services, serving clients in northern Illinois for over 25 years. Projects have included judicial centers, high schools, wellness centers, police and fire stations, corporate offices, village and city halls, senior living communities, banks, and community college facilities. The company culture is incredibly social, making it a great place for those looking for a community. Most of the team enjoys working alongside one another in the office, however there is the option for 2 days of remote flexibility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.21 - $43.27/hr.
