Job Title: Architectural Associate

Job Description

We are currently hiring for a Mid-Level Architect to support a local architecture firm in Cincinnati, OH. As the Mid-Level Architect, you will independently perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in all aspects of architectural designs for projects of moderate size and complexity.

You will also perform analyses of design, planning, and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts. You will be responsible for the start to finish of architectural projects including programing, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration duties.

The architecture firm focuses on the following project types: learning & education, multi-family housing, health & wellness, industrial & fulfillment, and specialty projects.

This is a position where you will be an external consultant supporting the architecture firm for 12 months. After this period, you will transition to a direct employee of the architecture firm. During the consulting period, you will be a W-2 employee with eligibility to enroll in benefits (health/dental/vision insurance), 401k, vacation, and holiday pay.

• Conduct analyses of design, planning, and occupancy studies.
• Create limited design layouts.
• Manage the start to finish of architectural projects including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration duties.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's in Architecture
• 3-5 years of professional experience in the architecture field
• Proficiency in Revit
• Experience working on commercial projects

Work Environment

The work environment includes both on-site and in-office work. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm. The firm is a small, close-knit team with approximately 20 people. They offer end-of-year bonuses based on individual and company performance, maintain a healthy backlog of work, and do not routinely lay off individuals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.87
