What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architectural Drafter/Designer position at Actalent?
Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Oversee and coordinate architectural projects from initial design through to completion
- Design Development: Assist in developing designs and design documents during the schematic design and design development phases
- Documentation: Produce and manage construction documents and specifications
- Quality Assurance: Perform and document code reviews and analysis to ensure compliance with building codes and standards
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and ensure their expectations are met
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure project goals are achieved
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure projects are constructed according to design plans
Requirements
- Experience: At least 0-3 years of experience in architectural drafting
- Education: A degree in architecture or a related field
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in design and documentation
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project lifecycle
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about architecture and project management.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $28.85/hr.
