Job Title: Architectural Inspector

Job Description

The Architectural Inspector will work with different clients, building occupants, and contractors on a federal project site in Washington, DC. This individual will be part of an Owner's agent team supporting various federal projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, coordinate, and inspect the construction work of the contractor on behalf of the federal agency.
• Provide daily site inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and codes.
• Inspect the site daily to ensure it is up to code and meets specifications.
• Prepare reports of inspection and site visits.
• Review change order issues.
• Perform special material testing inspections.
• Maintain project records.
• Manage project photographic records.
• Verification of field surveys.

Essential Skills

• Experience with CQM, material take-offs, and design.
• $50M Federal (GSA, DoD) Construction Experience, including historic renovations and new construction.
• Experience with oversight of Architectural component installation and design/spec reviews.
• Experience with material take-offs.
• Architecture and drafting proficiency.
• Quality assurance and quality control experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance.

Work Environment

The position is on-site at GSA daily, Monday through Friday. The work environment includes a federal project site with opportunities for growth, flexible PTO, and stock options.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00
