Job Title: Architectural Job Captain

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Job Captain to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit, have over 10 years of experience in architecture, and possess strong client presentation and meeting skills. A background in healthcare or life sciences architecture is preferred, but an interest in this type of work is essential.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Revit for architectural design and documentation.
• Participate in client presentations and meetings.
• Engage in schematic design to construction documentation and administration.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure project goals are met.
• Draft architectural plans and details using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Provide construction administration support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• 10 years of experience in architecture.
• Strong client interaction and presentation skills.
• Experience in schematic design, construction documents, and construction administration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Pursuing licensure is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Background or interest in healthcare or life sciences architecture.
• Familiarity with Adobe software for design and drafting.

Work Environment

Our main office is located in Providence, Rhode Island, with satellite offices in Boston and Connecticut. The Providence office offers stunning views of the Providence skyline and is a hub for a passionate team of designers and architects. The Boston satellite office is situated in the heart of the city, adjacent to South Station, with panoramic city views from the 29th floor. The work environment is collaborative and dynamic, with a strong dedication to healthcare architecture and other exciting commercial projects. Initially, you will work full-time in the office until fully trained, after which a more flexible schedule may be available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $52.00/hr.
