Job Title: Construction Assistant Project Manager
Job Description
We are searching for a Construction Assistant Project Manager who will play a crucial role in assisting the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects. This role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to headquarters or New York as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects.
- Work with subcontractors and architects to assemble and get approved Submittals, RFIs, and Change Orders.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and timelines to ensure adherence to plans.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.
- Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members.
- Provide support in resolving issues and addressing challenges during the project lifecycle.
- Assist in maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field.
- Previous experience in a construction-related role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of construction processes and project management principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in estimation, construction, bidding, blueprint analysis, and using estimating software.
- Experience with RFIs, Change Orders, Submittals, Preconstruction, Construction management, Commercial construction, and Project coordination.
- Analytical and mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs.
Work Environment
This role is 95% remote, with occasional travel to headquarters or New York as needed.
