Job Title: Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Superintendent to oversee a multi-phase renovation project for a large pharmaceutical manufacturer. The project includes three interior renovations and one addition, and will not be performed in clean/protected spaces. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing subcontractors, creating and enforcing the project schedule and budget, and ensuring that project plans, drawings, and designs are followed. Additionally, the Superintendent will be responsible for creating daily reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Create and enforce the project schedule and budget.
• Ensure project plans, drawings, and designs are followed accurately.
• Generate daily reports on project progress.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction management.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints.
• Experience in biopharma or healthcare construction projects.
• Subcontractor management skills.
• Project management expertise.
• Knowledge of Request for Information (RFI) processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with medical, pharma, or biotech projects.
• Experience working in clean or occupied spaces.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Work Environment

This position requires on-site work at the project location. The initial project site is at a large pharmaceutical manufacturer. The work environment is dynamic and offers significant growth potential within the biopharma and healthcare construction sector. The company is expanding its operations in Maryland and provides a small local office atmosphere backed by a national organization, offering corporate HR support and structured growth opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
