Description
Immediate opening for a data analyst positions in the research area of addressing impacts of clouds on wind energy, and atmospheric radiation.
Main Responsibilities:
• Use Python to process large (>5 TB) amount of data. The code will read NetCDF files from multiple instruments (radar, lidars, radiometers etc.), perform noise-filtering, and do additional quality control. It will also plot the variables for assessing the health of the instruments.
• Implement the above developed Python codes to large amount of data collected during the Wind Forecasting Improvement Project (WFIP), and Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) observatories.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
