Job Title: AutoCAD Drafter

Job Description

Engineer will assist with the design and development of new manufacturing processes and equipment. The engineer will also provide support for all in-house drawings and maintain various sets of documents for different systems.

Responsibilities

• Update current drawings, adding any undocumented equipment, completing measurements when needed, and inspecting air ducts.
• Develop and optimize processes required for new products when necessary.
• Work alongside Project Engineers and/or outside equipment vendors to specify, purchase, and develop new equipment and tooling.
• Manage production line layouts and the installation of new equipment.
• Oversee the overall management of the AutoCAD drawing system.
• Assist with Change Control to support project efforts.

Essential Skills

• Over 1 year of AutoCAD experience (reading and drawing designs)
• Over 1 year of industrial or commercial manufacturing experience
• Experience managing drawings and maintaining documents of water systems
• Familiarity with single line diagrams
• Experience with HVAC Hydronics drawings, as-builts, red lines, and water systems
• Project management
• Design
• CAD
• Drafting

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred)
• Experience in pharmaceutical or medical industries preferred but flexible to industrial manufacturers such as automotive, food and beverage, heavy equipment, etc.

Work Environment

The candidate will be provided with a company laptop with AutoCAD software installed. The candidate is expected to be on-site Monday to Friday with flexible hours (7-4, 8-5, 9-6) and may need to come in on 2nd/3rd shifts or Saturdays to take measurements when certain lines aren't running. This role requires working 40 hours a week and may require some overtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
