Job Title: Cleanroom Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cleanroom Technician to join our team in a clean room manufacturing environment. You will be creating biological medical devices derived from porcine liver. Your main responsibilities will include receiving, trimming, and decellularizing porcine livers, as well as creating and cutting specific pieces for devices. Additionally, you will be responsible for sterilizing the clean room and following standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Essential Skills

• 6 months of experience working within a clean room setting
• Associates Degree in a medical or science field, OR some college with science course load
• Experience following SOPs in a GMP environment
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree in a scientific field such as biology or biochemistry
• Experience in a lab working with porcine or animal tissue
• Skills in cleanroom procedures, tissue samples handling, sterile processing, aseptic technique, chemical mixing, tissue trimming, sterilization, and general biology knowledge

Work Environment

The position is based in a new facility in Plymouth, MN, where the clean room is still being built out. There will be a total of three technicians to start with, collaborating closely with the R&D team. You will work directly with porcine livers and assist R&D with porcine kidneys during downtime. The production timeline is from Monday to the following Tuesday, with a schedule of 40 hours during production weeks and around 36 hours during non-production weeks. Non-build weeks are Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Build weeks vary: Mondays 8am-4:30pm, Tuesdays-Thursdays starting between 6am-6:30am and ending around 4:30/5pm, and Fridays typically finishing around 1/2pm. Some mandatory overtime of 42-44 hours may be required during build weeks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
