This role is to support the growing demand for our CAD design team. The designer will be responsible for preparing 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings for a wide variety of products, components, and tools used in industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, Heavy-duty Truck, and Rail. This involves both creating designs from scratch and working with existing drawings, focusing on both products and manufacturing equipment / tooling.

- Prepare 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings for various products and components.
- Design for both product development and manufacturing equipment / tooling.
- Work with a close-knit team of designers and engineers to develop and refine skills.
- Handle a mix of from-scratch design and design using existing drawings.

Work Environment
This is an on-site role in Hastings in an office-based setting, with occasional needs to visit the manufacturing floor. The hours of work are flexible, with start times ranging from 6-9 AM, though most of the team starts at 7 or 8 AM. Typical work weeks are 40 hours. After 2-3 months, there may be an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule if proven to be self-sufficient.
