Job Title: CAD Operator

Job Description

Utilize CAD (2D) and internal software programs to create and modify 2D and 3D architectural documents including submittal, fabrication, and installation drawings from a variety of sources. Prepare assembly and part drawings for fabrication of ornamental railing components. Develop cut lists and bills of material for assembly.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D and 3D architectural documents using CAD and internal software programs.
• Prepare assembly and part drawings for fabrication
• Develop bills of material for assembly.
• Review drawings and parts lists for completeness and accuracy.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Experience with Revit is a big plus!
• Minimum of three years of experience utilizing CAD software post schooling.
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Competency in working with Imperial and Metric systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Need to have 2-3 years of 2D experience. Company has internal 3D propriety software they will train you on.
• Experience with laser scanning preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week in our Lancaster County facility, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed. This position is not eligible for remote work. Our high-quality products are all designed and manufactured in our facility located in the rolling farmlands of Central Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
