Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Cell Therapy Aseptic Operator to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the qualification of clean rooms, handle supplies and materials, and perform aseptic gowning to support clean room operations. You will work within our manufacturing environment to process cells and samples, utilizing your skills in aseptic techniques and previous GMP practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist in clean room qualification by helping to burden clean rooms for testing.
- Run supplies and materials as needed for clean room operation and processing.
- Perform aseptic gowning in order to enter the clean room for qualification.
- Work within manufacturing to help process cells and samples.
- Process cultures, cryopreserve, and manipulate cell products using aseptic technique.
- Follow GMP practices and adhere to SOPs.
- Work within a Cellular Facility.
Essential Skills
- Experience with aseptic operations.
- Pharmaceutical and laboratory experience.
- Knowledge of cell therapy techniques.
- Previous experience working in a biology lab (academic or industry).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with lab gowning.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in biology or a related scientific field is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate within a team environment.
- Experience with cell culture, stem cell preparation, and tissue culture.
- Familiarity with Batch records, cell expansions, volume reductions, depletions, and enrichments.
- Clinical Trial Support experience.
Work Environment
- You will report to the Operations Managers and be part of a large team of operators. Comprehensive training will be provided by the managers and team to ensure proficiency in aseptic gowning for the clean room.
- Initial training will be Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm for the first three weeks.
- Must be flexible with shifts and open to working on Saturdays and Sundays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.78/hr.
