Chemist II

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated seeking a Chemist II to support the development of cleaners and sanitizers. This role offers opportunities to interact with people worldwide to develop products for the global market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate new products and improve existing ones.
• Perform routine stability tests.
• Maintain laboratory equipment.
• Develop and validate analytical test methods.
• Test and analyze new raw materials.
• Provide technical support for current products.
• Prepare test reports, presentations, and posters.
• Collaborate on global product registration.
• Support product commercialization.
• Maintain documentation and update SOPs.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel (10%).

Experience and Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with 3-5 years of lab experience.
• Proficiency in analytical and application testing procedures.
• Experience with HPLC, viscometer, autotitrator, balances, UV/VIS spectrophotometer, and pH meters.
• Experience in method development, validation, and transfer.
• Preferred experience in formulation development and testing of antimicrobial or cleaning products.
• Basic knowledge of microbiology preferred.
• Understanding of lab safety and safe chemical handling.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
