Chemist II
Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated seeking a Chemist II to support the development of cleaners and sanitizers. This role offers opportunities to interact with people worldwide to develop products for the global market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate new products and improve existing ones.
- Perform routine stability tests.
- Maintain laboratory equipment.
- Develop and validate analytical test methods.
- Test and analyze new raw materials.
- Provide technical support for current products.
- Prepare test reports, presentations, and posters.
- Collaborate on global product registration.
- Support product commercialization.
- Maintain documentation and update SOPs.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Self-starter who can work independently and in a team.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel (10%).
Experience and Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with 3-5 years of lab experience.
- Proficiency in analytical and application testing procedures.
- Experience with HPLC, viscometer, autotitrator, balances, UV/VIS spectrophotometer, and pH meters.
- Experience in method development, validation, and transfer.
- Preferred experience in formulation development and testing of antimicrobial or cleaning products.
- Basic knowledge of microbiology preferred.
- Understanding of lab safety and safe chemical handling.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
