Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Chemist for a QC position focused on analyzing products and determining concentrations. This role involves sample preparation, conducting analysis on various instruments, and handling some R&D projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare samples for analysis.
- Conduct product analysis using instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, and other characterization methods.
- Perform routine tasks in the lab, spending 5-10% of the time at the site for particle analysis, sampling, and testing.
- Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for potential improvements and provide suggestions.
Essential Skills
- B.S. in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field).
- 1-3 years of industry experience in a chemistry lab setting.
- 1-3 years of HPLC industry experience.
- Experience working under EP regulations.
- GLP experience is preferred.
- Experience with HPLC manufacturers and Empower software preferred.
Work Environment
You will be part of a small team of 3 analytical chemists, supporting both process and analytical chemistry functions. This is a growth position with potential for advancement to roles such as Associate Analytical Chemist or Analytical Chemist. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $57000.00/yr.
Compensation package: health benefits, eligible first of month
HRA- $92/month and rest is picked up from company. No premiums outside of $15.
Dental: 100% coverage for anything outside of dentist. $2000/year. Preventative care is covered
Vision
Short term disability- automatically get 20 days
10-15 days of vacation on an accrual basis- can negotiate (looking at 3 weeks)
6 personal days a year- prorated basis based on when they start. Can receive after employed 60 days
8 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday
401K plan- first of month after hired and 6 months of employment. 100% vested after 6 months. 4.5% match. Profit sharing
3% bonus for all salaried employees
