Job Title: Chemistry Manager - Technical Department

Job Description

We are seeking a Chemistry Manager to operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as HPLC and GC. This individual will be the sole member working in the Technical Chemistry department, supporting the laboratory and Validation/R&D team. The role requires providing technical knowledge for customer inquiries, writing and revising SOPs, updating regulatory procedures, overseeing Validation R&D, and optimizing laboratory services. The Chemistry Manager will ensure customer satisfaction by communicating laboratory results and testing timelines. Additionally, the role involves participation in external, internal, and regulatory audits while maintaining a high level of expertise in advanced laboratory testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment like HPLC and GC
• Support the laboratory and Validation/R&D team
• Provide technical knowledge for customer inquiries
• Write and revise technical SOPs as needed
• Update regulatory procedures for testing as needed
• Oversee Validation R&D and optimization laboratory services
• Ensure customer satisfaction by communicating laboratory results and testing timelines
• Participate in external, internal, and regulatory audits
• Maintain a high degree of expertise in advanced laboratory testing

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Chemistry, GC, and HPLC
• Experience with food testing and chemical analysis
• Strong customer service skills
• Expertise in laboratory and wet chemistry techniques

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical science, biochemistry, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Knowledge of 21 CFR, USP/NF, JP, AOAC, EP, ICH, GxP, and ISO standards and guidelines

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00
