Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Design Engineer with a strong experience in storm water management and site design. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Civil 3D AutoCAD and 8-10 years of engineering design experience, with a focus on storm water management, green infrastructure, and grading for both commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage storm water management systems.
• Conduct site design using Civil 3D AutoCAD.
• Develop grading plans for commercial and residential projects.
• Design and obtain approvals for septic systems and subdivisions.
• Implement sediment control measures.
• Ensure compliance with DEP regulations related to soil erosion.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Expertise in storm water management and grading.
• Strong project management skills.
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• 8-10 years of engineering design experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with green infrastructure.
• Knowledge of septic design and subdivision approval processes.
• Familiarity with DEP regulations and soil erosion control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment

The work environment offers a flexible work schedule with 8-hour shifts, paid personal days, and sick time. Projects are primarily private and located in Ocean, Middlesex, and Mercer counties. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $52.88
