Job Title: Civil Designer - Transportation
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Designer specializing in Transportation to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing small design tasks, data collection, traffic study procedures, and maintaining communication with sr staff. You will also be involved in traffic model setup, construction quantity calculations, and CADD updates.
Responsibilities
- Complete small design tasks
- Perform data collection, data entry, and other basic traffic study procedures
- Update and make changes to CADD (red-lines) as assigned
- Calculate construction quantities and develop related spreadsheets
- Set up and analyze traffic models
- Develop design details and plan sheets for overall project incorporation
- Maintain appropriate communication with sr staff
- Perform self-review (QA/QC) of all work prior to delivering to sr staff
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Design, Engineering, and Drafting
- Experience with roadway design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Knowledge of Civil Engineering principles
- Experience with MicroStation
- Project management skills
- Understanding of traffic engineering and transportation principles
- Ability to conduct traffic studies
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in Transportation and Traffic

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00
