Job Title: Civil Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to work on civil and structural designs, providing detailed AutoCAD drawings for marine infrastructure, waterfront site development, and dredge projects. The successful candidate will develop base plans of existing conditions utilizing survey point files, design for waterfront site development, and create construction plans and surface grading designs. This role also involves developing dredge templates, calculating dredge volumes, and creating structural drawings, including concrete reinforcement and steel details. Estimating CAD engineering hours for proposals will also be a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed AutoCAD drawings for marine infrastructure, waterfront site development, and dredge projects.
• Develop base plans of existing conditions utilizing survey point files.
• Design for waterfront site development including grading, drainage, utilities, and pavement.
• Develop construction plans and surface grading designs.
• Develop dredge templates and calculate dredge volumes between existing and proposed surfaces.
• Create structural drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and details with concrete reinforcement and steel details.
• Estimate CAD engineering hours for proposals.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience in civil engineering, specifically in grading and dredge design.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Civil 3D.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in wastewater projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in waterfront civil design.
• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification is preferred.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, with work conducted Monday through Friday. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within different business units, particularly in Environmental Solutions, focusing on wastewater, ports and harbors, and beach refurbishment projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00
