Job Title: Civil Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Civil Designer to join our team, focusing on site development projects in Baltimore and Harford County. The ideal candidate will design storm water management plans using AutoCAD and Carlson, create grading and erosion sediment control plans, and handle some permitting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design storm water management plans using AutoCAD and Carlson.
• Develop grading and erosion sediment control plans.
• Handle permitting tasks as required.
• Work on land development and site design projects.

Essential Skills

• 2-3 years of experience in civil site design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Carlson or Civil 3D.
• High school diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Permitting experience, especially in Baltimore and Harford counties, is a plus.
• Experience in land development or site design.
• Drafting and site plan experience.
• EIT or Professional Engineer certification is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM, five days a week, on-site at the office in Timonium. The company offers a collaborative and tight-knit environment, generous year-end bonuses, and 100% employer-paid health insurance. The team has worked on projects ranging from half an acre to 120 acres, including notable projects such as the Bayview Medical Center and the Donald Schaeffer Terminal at BWI Airport.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
