Job Title: Civil Drafter/Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Drafter/Designer to join our team. In this role, you will use CAD software to prepare plats, property sketches, alignment sheets, permit drawings, hydrostatic drawings, and typical construction methods for pipeline routing projects. You will support mappers, engineers, and project managers through various tasks, including utilizing Excel tables with engineering information to add data to drawings. You will be responsible for self-checking your drawings to ensure quality before submitting them for peer review and performing some QA/QC of other designers and drafters.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD to prepare plats, property sketches, alignment sheets, permit drawings, hydrostatic drawings, and typical construction methods for pipeline routing projects.
• Support mappers, engineers, and project managers through a variety of tasks.
• Use Excel tables with engineering information to add information to drawings.
• Accountable for self-checking drawings to ensure quality before submitting for peer review.
• Perform QA/QC of other designers and drafters.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Civil/Survey drafting experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of grading and pipeline routing.
• Experience with GIS, pipeline design, AutoCAD Map, and pipeline construction.
• Familiarity with land development and pipeline engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Map.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• 1 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with GIS software is a plus.
• Diploma required, Associate's degree preferred.

Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the Lexington office. You will have an individual desk with a multiple monitor setup. Our team provides a supportive environment with a one-stop EPCM service, including project development consulting, project management, land/ROW services, surveys, engineering & design, mapping/GIS, construction management, inspection, and operations & maintenance consulting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
