Job Title: CAD Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to create specialized drawings utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D. In this role, you will draft construction plans including grading plans, site plans, and erosion control plans. Additionally, you will draft ALTA and topographic surveys, generate surface modeling, and work closely with civil engineers to understand project requirements and develop appropriate drafts. You will ensure all drafts comply with industry standards and governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create specialized drawings utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Draft construction plans including grading plans, site plans, and erosion control plans
• Draft ALTA and topographic surveys
• Generate surface modeling
• Collaborate with civil engineers to understand project requirements and develop appropriate drafts
• Ensure all drafts comply with industry standards and governmental regulations

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experiece in civil engineering or surveying
• Experience in land development
• Drafting skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Associates Degree preferred

Work Environment

This is a small but rapidly growing company offering potential for profit sharing once direct. The role does not require any field work, and remote work may be entertained after a brief in-office period.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
