Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer proficient in using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. The ideal candidate will design subsurface systems in areas such as residential development, commercial site development, street improvements, utility infrastructure design, pump and tank design, municipal utility master-planning, and cost estimating. You will work closely with the project management team to bring designs from conception to completion and modify redlined designs as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design subsurface systems for residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop designs from conception to completion.
• Modify redlined designs based on project team feedback.
• Engage in client interactions and maintain effective communication.
• Create grading plans, utility plans, and street designs.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Experience with residential and commercial construction.
• Expertise in civil design, including street and utility design.
• Strong client interaction and communication skills.
• Experience with municipal engineering projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• PE License is preferred.
• 4-7 years of experience in a consulting engineering firm or design-build company.
• Expert level schematic design skills.
• Redlining experience.
• Candidate must be willing to relocate to Fresno, CA. Relocation assistance will be provided.

Work Environment

You will work in a large office space located in North Fresno with a team of 6 engineers, 2 project managers, and 3 interns. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. The company values work-life balance and offers flexibility if needed. There is no requirement for overtime, but it is available. The company hosts various events such as lunches, BBQs, and suites at Grizzlies games. They have been providing end-of-year bonuses since 2008.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
