Job Title: Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, and execution of land development projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather necessary data for project planning.
• Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and other team members to ensure project success.
• Perform calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of project reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.

Essential Skills

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of land development processes and regulations.
• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

Office-based environment with the possibility of traveling to different job sites. Offers the opportunity to step into a smaller company, grow professionally, and potentially take on projects independently.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $75000.00
