Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Site/Civil Engineer to join a collaborative team in Philadelphia. This individual will play a key role in providing planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans for projects using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and equipment.
• Use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data and their impact on the planning and design of projects.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Maintain familiarity with current local, state, and federal land use permitting.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT Certification.
• 4 years of experience in site design, site planning, grading, stormwater, drainage, and soil erosion.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with land development and civil design.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal land use permitting processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $92500.00
