Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level Land Development Engineer (Civil Engineer) to join our team in either Newark, DE or Dover, DE. The ideal candidate will possess a good work ethic, attention to detail, and a high level of personal integrity. Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, as well as strong planning and organizational abilities, are essential.

Responsibilities

• Interact with township officials & professionals, DEP, PennDOT and Conservation Districts.
• Perform site grading, erosion control design, stormwater management design, and site layout.
• Organize and prioritize work schedules of self and others.
• Compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and complex reports.
• Communicate technical information to those with and without technical understanding.
• Prepare and conduct effective presentations.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Report back all information to Department Head in an organized manner.

Essential Skills

• 4 years experience with land development design and subdivision planning.
• Proficient in Microstation/AutoCAD.
• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field.
• Experience with HydroCAD, Civil 3D, Civil design, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and stormwater design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Organization and multi-tasking ability.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize efforts and effectively engage on multiple projects at one time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $46.00
