Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Project Engineer for our civil engineering department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in site design and utility design projects involving residential and commercial sites, institutional and education sites, roadways and bridges, earthwork and grading design, and water distribution and sanitary sewer collection projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence research for upcoming projects.
- Prepare engineering reports for stormwater and due diligence.
- Generate grading and utility plans along with estimated quantities.
- Perform engineering calculations for stormwater, wastewater, and water distribution.
- Review submittals and payment applications for active construction projects.
Essential Skills
- Experience with water and wastewater engineering.
- Proficiency in civil engineering, particularly stormwater and wastewater design.
- Three to five years of site design consulting experience.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Work Environment
This role is primarily office-based.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
