★ Clinic Registered Nurse ★
Oak Ridge/Day shift 8:00am to 5:00pm/onsite/RN license Required
★ Responsibilities ★
- Prepares patients for scheduled procedures and assists in patient assessment.
- Accurately records history and performs basic triage procedures per policy.
- Retrieves initial basic condition of patients, creates nursing history, and reports to the appropriate practitioner.
- Assists providers with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care.
- Monitors and ensures accuracy of recording on patient medical records.
- Ensures an adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipment.
- Schedules all outside patient appointments per physician order and relays accurately to patients.
- Takes calls from hospitals/nursing homes and relays appropriate information to the practitioner in a timely manner.
- Assures test results are received and relayed to the patient in a timely manner.
★ Necessities ★
- RN License!
★ Additional Skills & Qualifications ★
- Experience with Cerner EMR is a bonus
- Ability to read and interpret medication use labels in ambulatory settings
- Proficiency in simple conversions and calculations of commonly used equivalents in ambulatory settings
- Knowledge of safe medication administration procedures as per CDC guidelines
- Ability to perform simple calculations for the amount of medicine to be administered from an ordered dose with varied concentrations

· 8:00am – 5:00pm ( an hour lunch)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.50
