Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse

Location: Dearborn, MI

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our team. The position is primarily based at the Fairlane location in Dearborn, with an initial 6-week training period in Detroit. The successful candidate will be the sole research team member at these sites, working on NCI cooperative group studies and eventually expanding to pharmaceutical trials. This role requires significant coordination activities, including patient identification, consent, and management.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential patients by reviewing clinic schedules and pre-screening.
• Work with providers to inform them of potential patients.
• Consent patients and set up all necessary screenings and tests.
• Follow up with patients and guide providers on patient management, including dosing and care.
• Spin blood samples, store, and ship them as required.
• Assist with scheduling and patient visits.

Essential Skills

• Experience in Clinical Research is required.
• Strong clinical care capabilities.
• Ability to work independently without administrative support.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Oncology Clinical Research experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The Clinical Research Nurse will work at the Fairlane location in Dearborn, with an initial 6-week training period in Detroit. The candidate will be the only research team member at these sites, working closely with the lead nurse. The work environment includes supporting various disease sites and collaborating with 14 physicians. The role does not involve data entry or regulatory tasks. The team lead will provide support as needed. The position offers the opportunity to accrue 4 weeks of vacation in the first year as a consultant.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
