Job Title: Pharmaceutical Compounder
Job Description
We are seeking a Pharmaceutical Compounder to join our growing production team. This role involves working in various departments, including Granulation, Blending, Compression, Coating, Dispensing, or Technical Service, based on project requirements and complete training provided. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper stock inventory, adhering to manufacturing procedures, and producing pharmaceutical products according to cGMP standards.
Responsibilities
- Follow all procedures and policies in the manufacturing facility.
- Read and document the latest versions of SOPs in the training record.
- Clean, set up, and operate all related equipment in the manufacturing facility.
- Produce pharmaceutical products according to cGMP standards.
- Follow Good Documentation Practices.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance Department for line clearance after major or minor cleaning.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Department or Production Supervisor for any equipment or facility breakdowns.
- Train new employees and/or operators from other processing equipment.
- Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by the Production Supervisor.
Essential Skills
- Basic knowledge of the manufacturing facility, equipment, and the working principle of the equipment.
- Technical skills required to troubleshoot problems in the processing area encountered during manufacturing.
- Experience in pharmaceutical compounding, mixing, blending, and compressing.
- Pharma GMP experience.
- Good documentation practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent experience within a pharmaceutical facility.
- Qualified in the operation of oral solids pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
- Basic computer skills with some understanding of MS Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills for departmental and inter-departmental coordination.
- Ability to perform basic math, read, write, communicate, and handle stress produced by time pressure and customer demands.
- Physical ability to access all laboratory, manufacturing, and office areas, safely climb ladders, wear required PPR, read written documents, use a computer, sit or stand and walk for prolonged periods, and lift up to 100 lbs.
- Good attention to detail and legible writing.
Work Environment
You will be working in a growing manufacturing department with flexible hours (8-4 or 9-5) and the option to work four 10-hour days. Shifts are available during the week and weekends. The work environment offers a family-like atmosphere in a stable, financially secure company.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
