What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Superintendent position at Actalent?
Responsibilities
- Monitor production, schedule, and performance.
- Assist with coordination aspects as directed by the Project Manager.
- Conduct safety audits and assist with contractor quality control and safety at construction locations.
- Ensure contractors complete work on schedule while addressing warranty issues.
- Communicate daily status of current projects to the Project Manager.
- Maintain 100% compliance with safety standards and accountability in all mandatory/regulatory requirements.
- Take necessary actions when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe.
- Report and address all potential safety concerns, incidents, and issues promptly.
- Certify that all submittals comply with contract requirements.
- Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process.
- Review all catalog cuts and material submittals for compliance with plans and specifications.
- Ensure effective and timely preventive and corrective actions are taken, and minimize recurrence of problems.
Essential Skills
- Concrete construction experience
- Industrial and commercial project experience
- 7 years of Superintendent experience
- 2 years of experience as a concrete superintendent
- Proficiency in construction supervision and management
- Strong knowledge of safety standards

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
2 to 4 weeks of PTO immediately, local work, manage large scale projects, reputable and award winning contractor.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Plain City,OH.
