Job Description

• The Project Administrator organizes all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans.
• The professional in this role may work on the client's site and partners closely with the Project Manager(s) to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects.
• This individual will perform various coordinating tasks such as schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties such as maintaining project documentation and handling financial inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans.
• Collaborate closely with Project Manager(s) to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects.
• Perform various coordinating tasks such as schedule and risk management.
• Maintain project documentation and handle financial inquiries.
• Prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
• Coordinate with clients and team members efficiently.
• Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

Essential Skills

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Administration, Project Design, or Project Coordination.
• Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
• Experience with Procore and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
• Knowledge of client industrial process efficiency programs.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, Design, or related field is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to take direction from multiple individuals and manage various projects simultaneously.

Work Environment

• Work within the Power & Manufacturing – Advanced Energy Manufacturing Team.
• Job site is located in Niskayuna.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00
