CMT Technician
Job Description
Candidates will be responsible for field testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt. LabCAT, American Concrete Institute (ACI) Level I, and WAQTC certifications are desired, but training will be provided for the appropriate candidate. This position requires the ability to lift and carry heavy materials. Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and pass a history security check for work at the airport.
Responsibilities
- Perform field testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt.
- Conduct environmental testing and soil sampling.
- Work with scheduling and oversight of the CMT team.
- Engage in client interactions and manage project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and testing standards.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a CMT technician with a valid ACI certification.
- Experience with concrete and soil testing.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass drug and background checks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- LabCAT certification.
- WAQTC certification.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with multiple personalities.
- Experience in vertical construction projects.
Work Environment
The company operates in Colorado with offices in South Denver, Parker, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins. The role involves working on a variety of projects, primarily vertical construction, but also renewables and transportation work. Employees typically do not work weekends and have the opportunity for 5 hours of overtime regularly.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
