Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Actalent is seeking a Construction Project Manager for a full-time role near Clarksville, TN. This role will be managing industrial construction projects. The position offers a company vehicle and cell phone allowance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and budget.
  • Create detailed schedules of activities, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals.
  • Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as necessary to optimize efficiency.
  • Procure necessary resources in accordance with project requirements.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Monitor expenditures, track costs, and identify variances.
  • Implement cost-control measures to maintain project profitability.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement risk management plans to minimize project disruptions.
  • Address issues promptly to prevent escalation.
  • Establish quality standards and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain standards.
  • Address non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Manage contract changes and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and communications to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Manage expectations and maintain positive relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety among team members and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and distribute regular progress reports, status updates, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and permits.
  • Archive project records and lessons learned for future reference.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Identify issues and obstacles that may impact project progress.
  • Analyze alternatives and make informed decisions to resolve challenges.
  • Implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate project closeout activities, including final inspections and documentation.
  • Facilitate the handover of completed projects to clients or end-users.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations and warranty requirements are fulfilled.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction.
  • Experience with ground-up construction, ideally with pre-engineered metal buildings.
  • Experience working on industrial projects.
  • Concrete experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00
