Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are looking to add a site superintendent/leader for our northern Michigan team. The site superintendent/lead will oversee and manage a crew responsible for drywall and steel stud interior framing projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction practices, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a crew responsible for drywall and steel stud interior framing projects.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the construction site.
• Manage project scheduling and subcontractor management.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 30 safety standards.
• Handle construction management and supervision duties.
• Report to the project manager and general superintendent.

Essential Skills

• 5 years working with steel stud and drywall finishing.
• 2 years in a supervisor role (site leadership).
• Extensive knowledge of commercial construction.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Proficiency in construction supervision, project scheduling, and subcontractor management.
• Understanding of OSHA 30 safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Additional experience in flooring installation is a plus.

Work Environment

40 hour work weeks. This work location is flexible. The company has work spread all across northern Michigan and they are able to cover expenses for mileage or lodging if needed. You will report to the project manager and general superintendent.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
