Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a robust experience in commercial construction. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience managing projects valued at $10 million or more and will be able to travel within the Philadelphia area to various job sites. Experience in healthcare construction is highly preferred, but candidates with diverse project portfolios are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and construction teams.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA 30 standards.
• Utilize Procore for project management and documentation.
• Handle RFIs (Requests for Information) and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Travel to various job sites within the Philadelphia area as required.

Essential Skills

• Over 10 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven experience managing projects valued at $10 million or more.
• Strong background in construction management and supervision.
• Proficiency in using Procore for project management.
• Knowledge of OSHA 30 safety standards.
• Experience with healthcare construction projects is highly preferred.

Work Environment

You will be joining a large and stable corporation with a diverse project portfolio, including projects in healthcare, senior living, and higher education sectors. The company has a strong presence in Philadelphia and is supported by their Pittsburgh office. You will work closely with a variety of superintendents and project managers, typically in a team of three. The company offers profit-sharing options after the first year, with payouts starting in year three. You will receive 2-3 weeks of PTO, 6 holidays, and mileage reimbursement for travel to project sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.
