Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

The Controls Engineer will be responsible for programming, commissioning, and starting up equipment at customer sites. The role involves building, wiring, and programming machinery at the Jeffersonville plant, performing factory acceptance tests (FAT), and then breaking it down for shipment to customer sites. Once installed, the Controls Engineer will commission the equipment, modify code as needed per customer requests, and perform integration, troubleshooting, and testing on-site.

Work Environment

This role involves heavy travel to customer sites within the US, as well as occasional trips to Europe, Mexico, and Canada. Initial training will take place in Jeffersonville, IN, working in the shop with the lead to understand the different equipment and how they are assembled. Training duration varies based on individual learning speed. The Controls Engineer will travel on Mondays, be at customer sites from Tuesday to Friday, and return home on Fridays. When projects extend for two weeks, there is the option to stay over the weekend or travel back home. The company provides a credit card, phone, and daily per diem. The work involves diverse machinery for sleeve wrapping, drying, pouches, steaming, labeling, and more.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Vacation:
• 1-3 Years: 20 days
• 4-8 Years: 25 days
• 9-13 Years: 30 days
• 14 Years: 35 days
Up to 10 days may be carried over, to be used by the next December 31
