Job Title: Controls Engineer

We're on a mission to make sustainable packaging a reality, and we need your expertise to make it happen.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and deploy retrofits and design changes to our existing machines in our lab, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Travel to US locations to implement changes and provide on-site support, collaborating with our teams to resolve any issues that arise.
• Provide feedback to inform design decisions for our next-generation machine, which will primarily support paper packaging.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in controls engineering, applying your knowledge to continuously improve our processes and systems.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC and understanding of structured text and ladder logic.
• MUST HAVE experience with Structured Text Programming
• Experience with HMI - FactoryTalk and Cognex barcode scanner.
• Motion Control programming from scratch.
• Knowledge of safety code and PLC programming.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with vision cameras (e.g., Cognex or Kienz) is a plus.
• Experience with safety and safety programming is desirable.
• Knowledge of Codesys is a nice-to-have, but not required.
• Travel locations of Boston, Cleveland, Shreveport

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
