Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will write application code using Visual Basic, C , PLC, and OIT programs. You will be responsible for creating designs, drawings, BOMs, specifications, and ensuring that projects meet specifications, standards, and performance requirements within your area of expertise. Additionally, you will develop PLC programs to control industrial food processing equipment and create functional OIT screens for operator interaction. You will identify causes of problems, develop alternative solutions, and communicate associated benefits and risks. You will also use advanced product line knowledge to assist Application Engineering and Customer Service in creating complex quotes for machines and parts, and work collaboratively with sales, service, methods, and production departments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 3-10 years of relevant experience in industrial machine controls
• Experience with from scratch programming of PLCs and HMI systems
• Experience designing and developing control systems
• Experience with Rockwell and Siemens PLCs
• Experience with Wonderware HMIs

Work Environment

This role operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing facility. The position will require travel to client sites, including processing facilities. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
