Job Title: Automation Controls Engineer
Description:
Actalent is hiring a motivated Automation Controls Engineer and partnering with a leading company in product identification and traceability technology. This company specializes in a wide range of permanent, programmable laser, Pinstamp®, DotPeen, and Telescribe® Scribe Marking Systems, which are trusted in manufacturing environments worldwide.
Duties will include:
- Design and develop control systems and applications with limited assistance, including PLC programming, HMI development, vision, and motion control systems.
- Assist with electrical design and robotics applications as needed.
- Manage project installations, startups, and conduct factory assessments and site acceptance tests.
- Provide customer training on system operations and functionality.
- Support sales by estimating labor hours for project proposals.
Top Skills:
- 5 years of industry experience in PLC programming (preferably Allen Bradley) and HMI development.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Associates degree is acceptable).
- Commissioning and customer-facing experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with Cognex vision readers for machine vision applications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for creating electrical schematics and system designs.
Experience Level: Intermediate Level
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
